Brooker Law was founded with a simple goal: to practice law in a way that honors both the weight of the case and the person behind it. That means preparing with discipline, communicating with clarity, and approaching each case with the care it deserves.
Matt Brooker grew up in Blue Springs, Missouri, watching his parents — both public school teachers — invest in the lives of others every day. Their impact shaped how he sees advocacy: not just as argument, but as presence, commitment, and belief in someone’s future.
After nearly two decades in litigation, Matt built this firm around the values that have guided him all along: show up prepared, lead with integrity, and fight for the outcome that aligns with what matters most to each client.
Matt graduated from Blue Springs High School and competed in team and individual debate events on a national level. He qualified to NFL nationals three years, twice winning Top 10 honors in impromptu speaking.
Matt studied business-finance and economics at Truman State University before graduating magna cum laude with honors. He worked on several initiatives to empower students to be recognized as equal partners in the learning community with would-be lifelong friends in the Bulldog Party and was elected Student Senate President by his peers and later selected Outstanding Student in Economics by his professors. He also served as Vice President and President of his fraternity.
Matt returned home to Kansas City to attend law school at the University of Missouri - Kansas City (UMKC) based on his belief that pursuing a career in law would allow him to use his talents and abilities to advocate for the rights of others.

Off the clock, you’ll find Matt in the garden, by the koi pond, or cheering on the Royals and Chiefs. But one of his greatest joys has come from coaching youth sports. Whether on the field or in the courtroom, he believes in the same principles: 100% effort, no excuses, and team first.
Brooker Law proudly sponsors Force Softball and Hornets Basketball, continuing Matt’s commitment to helping the next generation grow with confidence, discipline, and heart.
